A potential security hole that could affect sites that enable non-root access with sudoscript was fixed. A new feature added "ss -" usage, which is like "su -" and gives the user the shell and environment of the target user.
NetBSD platform support has been added. Ports and packages for
[Free|Open|Net]BSD are now part of the distribution. The
"sudoscripters" group has been renamed "ssers" to accommodate
platforms with 8 character group names.
This beta release of sudoscript now allows shells as users other than root. For example, the Oracle account can now be scripted with sudoscript. Also, HP-UX support has been added.
