This release includes two major improvements: a Web API for supporting mobile clients, and the ability for an admin or library owner to set the length of history to keep. Other features includes display of file modification time, the ability to get a share link for a directory, and better support for HTTPS.
This release contains an urgent bugfix. Seafile server would delete a library from the database if it failed to load it from disk (which could be caused by repairable disk error).
This version comes with a few important updates regarding to security and international language handling. Security: encrypted transmission; a document on setting up HTTPS for Seafile Web; and removal of the temporal password of encrypted libraries when logging out on the Web site. Language Support: fixes problems when handling libraries with names in languages like French, German, etc. (other than English) for the Windows client.
