This version features dockable topic panels, a Europeana extractor, and a number of tiny fixes. Dockable topic panels allow the user to work simultaneously with several different topic views and editors, all synchronized.
New features include a Guardian open platform extractor, a Freebase extractor, a DOT graph format export and a topic map layer visualization based on D3. Moreover, the graph panel views occurrences and graph panel filter management is easier. This release contains fixes in LTM export and disables some deprecated extractors.
Tool manager now supports JAR paths, enhanced timeline visualization, an iCal calendar format extractor, server modules for partition visualization, tree visualization and word cloud visualization, a cylinder graph generator, a lattice graph generator, a New York Times Event API extractor, and a lot of bugfixes.
The template mechanism of the Processing topic panel has been changed. Now the user writes a complete Processing applet instead of a partial applet. All enclosed sample sketches have been updated to follow this change. Two completely new sample sketches for the Processing topic panel: Sphere3D and Euclidean3D. Three new server modules for Wandora's embedded server: Timeline visualizes RSS and Twitter extractions, Googlemaps visualizes GeoNames, Oma kaupunki, and Palvelukartta extractions, and D3graph visualizes a topic map as a graph. This version also features a New York Times Article Search API extractor.
XTM, JTM topic map, GRAPHML, and RDF service modules now return association data too. Creating a new layer selects the new layer automatically. The XTM 2.0 import feature has been fixed and interprets zero length basename as no-basename. A subject identifier change in the topic tree changes the topic's subject identifier instead of the topic's basename. New features include a Simple CSV association extractor, Associate nearby point occurrence carriers, and Associate points in the polygon occurrence carrier.
