A new pause feature which allows preferences to be changed and assertions to be added during recording and playback, new applet support, and i18n support for Spanish, Greek, Japanese, and Portuguese.
This release adds native language support for French, German, and Korean. A "text equals" assertion was also added, along with an option for ignoring unnamed components during the recording process. A bug that sometimes occured during the playback of dialogs has been fixed, and a new logo has been created.
A window showing assertion functionality and more informative error handling have been added. Playback has been updated to be faster by not re-allocating Robots. A bug where playback was using dynamic class loading instead of system has been fixed.
This release addresses a very serious problem that occurred on Windows NT (and perhaps other similar machines). The recording portion of Pounder would generate high CPU usage, making it impossible to record scripts. If you are using NT or experiencing unexpected behavior during recording, this upgrade is recommended.
Preferences are now stored using the Preferences API and are saved on exit. This release fixes a bug where ignoring mouse motion recording was not working, can save as .xml, and made some tweaks to the Player API so that scripts can be more easily retrieved from jar files.
